Climbing in the middle of Graz – the City Adventure Center makes it possible. The CAC offers around 450 in- and outdoor climbing routes. Our routes for beginners and enthusiasts as well as overhangs and tricky routes set by professionals all excite the styrian climbing scene. Our young team from WIKI offers a comprehensive range of courses for beginners and more advanced climbers, free try-out-days, private lessons, workshops and trial days. Are you new to climbing? All information on climbing and our services can be found under offers & climbing in CAC.
We offer a 2 hour bouldering pass and daily passes for rope climbing, which do not have a time limit. On your first visit to CAC you will have to register and you will then be advised on which areas you can use. Even if you have no climbing experience you can still use all of our bouldering and training areas.
You can use all areas of the CAC with our day passes. If you not have a partner to climb with, you may also use our auto-belays. Should you only wish to climb top-rope, we have 17 fixed lines available. Climbing gear can also available to be rented.
With the boulder pass you may use the bouldering areas and our training equipment. We recommend a day pass if you wish to climb for more than two hours. The use of our bouldering areas requires no prior climbing experience, however, a bouldering course would ensure the acquisition of proper climbing technique.
You can naturally bring your children along too! Children above the age of 14 may climb alone with parental permission. Parental supervision is required at all times for children under 14. Children under the age of 6 are permitted only when the parents are also climbing. Children are most welcome to join any of our kids’ courses. Our Parent-Child course is recommendable for parents who wish to belay their children.
There are over 400 bouldering and rope climbing routes of all grades. All of our routes can be marked as completed, rated and commented on in the Vertical Life App, which also includes a training diary.
The CAC offers something for everyone – from beginners to experts. It is the only hall in Graz which offers both climbing and bouldering. Our outdoor area is first-class!
Our courses in CAC range from those for mini kids all the way to seniors, beginners to profis and from boulder courses to workshops for fall training. You can find the right course for you with our course booking module – register yourself and then enroll in your chosen course. Your enrolment will then be confirmed by the CAC admin and you will receive the course details and receipt.courses for adults courses for kids
We also offer the possibility to book a private lesson with your desired course content with one of our trainers. You can learn about both climbing and rope technique. Private lessons are available for 1 to 4 people. We are happy to teach mixed groups, such as parents with their children.asking for a date
